Funnel Teardowns

I’ve done 1,200+ live funnel audits. I walk through your funnel like a skeptical prospect would: every page, every click, every place the argument breaks or credibility fades. No vague feedback. Specific diagnosis, specific fix, specific reasoning.

Live Audit Excerpt: Personal Injury Firm Intake Page

1,200+ live funnel audits. 3,000+ funnels built. Here’s how that thinking looks in practice, not just polished portfolio samples, but real diagnoses with real fixes.

Problem 1

Hero headline reads ‘Experienced Attorneys Fighting For You.’ That’s what every PI firm says. It signals nothing about who you serve, what makes you different, or why someone in pain should trust you over the next result in Google.

Fix 1

Lead with the outcome + who it’s for: ‘We help [City] accident victims get full compensation even when the insurance company says no.’ Specific, credible, and speaks directly to the skepticism they walked in with.

Problem 2

The contact form is above the fold, but there’s no reason yet for the visitor to fill it out. You’re asking for commitment before you’ve earned attention. Cold traffic doesn’t convert this way.

Fix 2

Push the form below a brief value argument: 2-3 sentences that answer why you, why now, and what they risk by waiting. Then the form. Sequence matters more than the form itself.

Real Examples

Here’s how it works in practice.

SaaS Trial Signup Funnel

B2B SaaS Platform

The Problem

58% drop-off between landing page and signup confirmation. Missing value ladder.

The Fix

Added micro-commitment (webinar opt-in) before trial signup. Reduced friction with progressive profiling. Result: 34% improvement in trial completion rate.

E-commerce Checkout Flow

Fashion & Apparel

The Problem

Cart abandonment at 73%. Guest checkout option was 4 clicks deep. Trust signals missing at payment screen.

The Fix

Exposed guest checkout prominently. Added security badges and guarantee banner at payment step. Removed unnecessary form fields. Result: 22% reduction in cart abandonment.

Consultation Intake Funnel

Personal Injury Law Firm

The Problem

Website traffic was high but consultation requests were low. Forms felt generic and didn’t qualify serious inquiries. No trust signals for first-time visitors.

The Fix

Restructured intake flow with qualifying questions upfront, added attorney bios with bar credentials, included recent case results prominently. Result: 3× increase in qualified consultation requests.

What I Look For

Disconnect between ad promise and landing page delivery

Friction in the checkout or opt-in flow

Missing urgency, social proof, or objection handling

Page load speed and mobile experience issues

Unclear value propositions that kill conversions

How It Works

I walk through the entire funnel as a prospect would

Every page gets annotated with specific observations

I prioritize issues by revenue impact (high → low) and speed of implementation

You get a clear action plan with before/after recommendations

Why It Matters

Most funnels lose 60-80% of potential buyers to avoidable mistakes

A single trust leak can alter the outcome of an entire campaign

Fixing the funnel is almost always higher-ROI than driving more traffic, think in terms of leverage.
